Hey Fashionistas!
This past Monday we shot our first editorial for Fashion for RAINN. Local artists from New York came out to support the cause and have their picture taken with words against abuse.
Stay Tuned for a sneak peak of the "Get the Word Out" shoot!

ReplyDeleteFashion for R.A.I.N.N is such a wonderful organization for those who feel they don't have a voice or anyone to stand behind them when they need it most. I have a few very close friends and relatives that have been raped by a family member and as Krishnar mentioned, in some cases it is viewed as taboo to speak about it, let alone press charges, especially in the African American community. I was extremely honored to be apart of the campaign shoot on Monday. I had the opportunity to meet some cool people and participate in a great cause! I hope to work with this organization in the near future! Get Involved! Make-up The Difference!!!

We are beginning to see the fruition of our efforts and it such a powerful thing! It's as if this is a calling! There's so much more that we have to get done in the pre-production stages of our initiative. I have to say THANK YOU to Ryan, Lindsay, Shaun, and our entire committee for helping one another to stay encouraged and energized! This thing is taking on a life of its own; so much bigger than any of us individually. We want FFR to be for the people....and the people seem to be grabbing on!
